Indonesia’s Berau Coal expects production 15% up in 2012

Coal output at Indonesia’s PT Berau Coal Energy is expected to increase 15% next year from 20Mt to 23Mt, said the company.

Indonesia is the world’s top thermal coal exporter and forecasts to produce around 340Mt of, mainly lower-grade, coal this year.
