Acciona to build three wind farms in Mexico
Acciona Energy’s Mexican subsidiary is to build the wind farms in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca, with a combined capacity of 304.2MW. The projects represent a combined investment of US$600m and are expected to commence operations in 2011. Acciona won the international tender for the construction of the wind farms via offering a generation price of ¢6.37-6.68/kWh (evwind.es).
