Israel intends to build nuclear power plants
Uzi Landau, Israel’s infrastructure minister has told delegates at a nuclear conference in Paris today that his country is looking to build nuclear power plants in cooperation with its Arab neighbours. He explained that any such plants would be subject to strict safety and security controls and that “Israel has always considered nuclear power to partially replace its dependence on coal. (AP)”
